The history of the Marwani Mosque.

This mosque witnessed a long history of struggle during the period of the rule of the Crusaders who turned this mosque into a stable for horses and a store for ammunition and they called it as Solomon stables.

You will see the rings that the Crusaders placed in the walls to tie their horses to this pure place and after Salah Al Din entering to Jerusalem, Saladin used this place to be a mosque. This Al-Marwani Mosque was closed for a long time because the area of the Al-Aqsa Mosque became larger.
