The history of Porat Yusef.

Destruction and rebuilding of Porat Yusef.

During the 1948 war between Israel and the Arab armies the school building was attacked and the school was destroyed. After the war ended in 1949, another school was established in the Geola neighbourhood, and after the Six Day War in 1967, the architect Moshe Safadi designed a new university vineyard on the site. The design of this new building is the same as the old one that maxed the old and the modern design.
