Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) a huge building on a massive white stone plaza will take you through Egypt’s long history during our visit only a small part was open, the outdoor terrace over ayn as sirah Lake and the citadel was under construction. only one gallery was open with textiles ceramics and jewelry and there are also another museums in cairo such as Cheops Boat Museum which contains amazing exhibits and Museum of Modern Egyptian Art which loacted in the beautiful gezira exhibition and Egyptian Railways Museum which located at the end of ramses station and Museum of Islamic Ceramics which built in 1924 and next to this museum is the gezira arts centre and National Military Museum also Police Museum which is inside the old prison building of the citadel
