Hassan Fathy’s Mud-Brick Village
Just beyond the railway track on the road to the Antiquities Inspectorate ticket office is Hassan Fathy’s mud brick village Built between 1946-1952 to relocate the people of Old Gurna who were living near the Tombs of the Nobles. "What is the objective of the project ?"
