Deep in the desert cliffs north of Deir Al Bahri lies the necropolis of Dra Abu’l Naga, where over 100 tombs of rulers and officials are hidden. Most of these tombs are from the 17th dynasty to the late period (1550–500 BC). But in the summer of 2014 a royal tomb from the 11th dynasty (2081–1938 BC) was found.
