This itinerary is to cater to pilgrims who would like to see the highlights of Egypt with links to the Bible - in a short period of time.
Day 01: Arrival
Arrival to Cairo International airport. Meet & assist and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Giza Pyramids- The Egyptian Museum
Buffet breakfast. Drive to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the world, the Pyramids of Giza "CHEOPS, MEKERINUS & CHEPHREN " Your tour ends with a visit of the majestic Sphinx, which is the largest single block sculpture located at the foot of the grandest Pyramid Chephren. Transfer to visit the famous Egyptian Museum. Here we shall provide you with a brief but colorful insight into the thousand year history of our fascinating land. Enjoy a felucca ride for an hour, then transfer to Railway Station to take the train to Luxor. Dinner & overnight on board.
Day 03: Luxor
Breakfast on board. Arrive at Luxor railway station. Transfer to visit the West Bank including The Valley of the Kings where you will see the colorful tombs of the Pharaohs between 1500 B.C to 1000 B.C, The Temple of Hatshepsut, it is a temple of Egypt only ruling queen at the back of the valley of the King's Mountain, a very unique style 3 floors temple cut in the mountain. Visit to The Colossi of Memnon, the two of majestic statues of Memnon where partially destroyed 30 B.C. Return to the hotel, evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight in Luxor.
Day 04: visit the East bank
Buffet breakfast. Start the tour to visit the East bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples. The Temple of Karnak was the largest ancient temple that mankind ever built, it is Egypt's largest monument after the Pyramids, Luxor temple is much smaller than Karnak and it lies in the middle of the city perfectly blending with the city, both temples are dated back to 1500 B.C. Transfer to the Airport to take your flight back to Cairo. Meet & assist at Cairo International Airport, then transfer to the hotel. Dinner & overnight.
Day 05: Sinai follow Moses's exodus journey
Early morning departure; follow Moses's exodus journey. On the way to Sinai we will stop at the Suez Canal which links the Mediterranean and Red Seas. From there we will cross from Africa to Asia where we will visit Marah where Moses took a wooden log and threw it into the water making the bitter water sweet. We will then drive to Elim where manna and quail came from heaven. Then we will drive to Raphadime where in the book of Exodus Moses sent Joshua to fight the Amalakites. There Moses built an altar that he called 'Lord is my Banner'. Arrival to Sinai, dinner and overnight in Sinai (St. Catherine)
Day 06: Mount Sinai- St, Catherine Monastery
Early morning climb up Mount Sinai before sunrise. While you are ascending Mount Sinai walking or by camel, you will pass by a great Greek orthodox Monastery known St, Catherine its fame isn't only because it is ancient, but also it lies at the foot of mount Sinai and it houses the burning bush. The Monastery which is dated back to 4th century A.D was built by Constantine. It has a great architecture, amazing icons and the spirituality is beyond description. From there, we will drive to Taba which is the Egyptian - Israeli border on the way to Taba which is one and half hour away from Sinai, we will drive by Haziroth, the place where Moses sister Mariam was kept away for Leprosy Then, we will have lunch at a hotel by the Red Sea where you can put your feet in the water. From this point, the options are two, either drive back to Cairo or you will have a transfer to Israel border of Eilat. The Drive to Eilat from the restaurant is an hour & the drive back to Cairo is more than 06 hours. End of the tour or back to Cairo for an extra night.
