Welcome to Aswan! Start the day with a visit to the High Dam the protector of Egypt from the floods. Then visit the Unfinished Obelisk and see how big it is. Then visit Philae Temple. Back to the M.S. Sonesta Sun Goddess Nile Cruise where the crew will welcome you back. Go up to the deck for a folkloric show before bed.
Morning in Aswan. Breakfast and 8 am check out. Our rep will assist you with your transfer to Aswan Airport or train station. End of the cruise.
Welcome to the land of the Nubians. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport or train station an ETB tour leader will meet you and transfer you to the luxurious M.S. Sonesta Sun Goddess Nile cruise. Check in is smooth and then your journey begins with a visit to the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk a 280 ton pink granite monolith. Then to the Philae Temple one of the Pharaonic strongholds of Egypt. Back to the ship for dinner and overnight.
Early morning rise to the sun and enjoy breakfast on board. Sail to Kom Ombo Temple famous for its Roman decorations and dual dedication to Sobek and Horus. Then to Edfu Temple, one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. As you sail to Asna enjoy the peacefulness of the Nile silver waters. In the evening a Nubian show with colourful costumes. After the show back to your cabin for the night.
Welcome to Luxor the city of Thebes. After breakfast visit the Deir El Bahari complex including the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple dedicated to Egypt most famous female pharaoh. Then to the Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of many pharaohs and the Colossi of Memnon, two giant stone statues. Back to the Sonesta Sun Goddess for belly dancing and live music in the evening.
Breakfast and check out. Visit Karnak Temple, a huge complex of temples, chapels and pylons from 1400 BC and then Luxor Temple. After the tour the ETB tour leader will help you with the transfer to Luxor station or airport and say goodbye and hope to see you in Egypt again soon.
